I’ve decided that 2008 is the year of the cardigan.  After 3 weeks and 99 votes the results are in.   I will soon cast on for the 1st place winner, Oblique with 31.3%.  I already have been scoping out yarn options was getting help from the ladies at Wild Fiber in Santa Monica.  The woman at the counter said that she was also going to knit Oblique and I think I heard the word “cashmere” but that may just be me dreaming.  Can you imagine it in cashmere?

 

The second place winner was Tangled Yoke with 29.3% of the votes.  It was in the lead for most of the voting but in the last 3 days move to second place.  I think I can actually knit this one with stash yarn, though I won’t spend too much time thinking about this until Oblique is well on its way.
